Of all the videos I shot on set for this episode on Wall Street, this is easily my favorite. The mood was very lighthearted when Vincent began chatting with some folks atop a tour bus passing by and the whole bus erupted in cheers when Vincent waved to them. I couldn't help but laugh as Vincent applauded his adoring fans as the tour bus turned onto South Street. Right before I began filming,I heard Vincent say "Hi. Where are you from?" to one of the tourists on the bus. Later, as Detective Goren, he plays a tug of war with actor Eric Sheffer Stevens over a leather bag during the scene with Kate Erbe, who flashes me a lovely smile when the scene is finished.

The end of the Q&A and a special gift for Vincent from "friends in California" before he says good night to us. He and the crew headed over to the nearby Mandarin Oriental Hotel for a drink after leaving NYIT shortly after 10 PM.

Here Vincent and company name their favorite horror films, including "Severance", "The Shining", "Night of the Living Dead", and "The Other". But "Spinal Tap"? LOL! Vincent has a laugh when Cassandra mentions that "Gremlins" is one of her favorite horror films and goofs on her a bit with "Watch out!" and "Gremlins!"

Louis begins to ask Vincent a question and "Mr. Vincent" gives his approval to address him as such. LOL

Vincent also declares "I love acting! It's my whole life, everything I do." Amen!

Meet the Director Part 13-November 22, 2010

Since the Rapture is not upon us, I finally got to finish processing the last three segments of the "Meet The Director" video series from November 2010. Here, Vincent and the crew answer a question about exhibiting new films at film festivals and talk about how DGITW was "grandfathered" into the festivals. Vincent credits Mark Ermin, formerly of Lionsgate Films, with the ability to sell his film to the "old fogeys" in the film industry with the financial pull to promote and release the movie. Vincent also announces that his film has been sold to Tribeca Films that very day. Kickstarter is mentioned as a popular way for young filmmakers to raise funds for their projects.
